We are looking for an experienced BIS Quality Control Manager to lead and manage quality compliance activities for BIS ISI Mark Certification (Scheme-I) and Foreign Manufacturers Certification Scheme (FMCS) projects. The candidate should possess strong knowledge of BIS factory requirements, quality control systems, manufacturing processes, and audit preparedness.
The role involves working closely with manufacturers, BIS officials, and testing laboratories to ensure successful certification and compliance with applicable Indian Standards

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct factory quality assessments and identify compliance gaps before BIS inspections.
- Review manufacturing processes, quality control systems, and testing facilities as per applicable Indian Standards.
- Prepare and review Quality Control Documents, Factory Layouts, Process Flow Charts, Test Equipment Lists, Calibration Records, and Technical Files.
- Guide manufacturers in establishing and maintaining BIS-compliant in-house testing facilities.
- Conduct pre-audit assessments and factory readiness evaluations.
- Support clients during BIS factory inspections and FMCS audits.
- Coordinate with BIS officials, auditors, testing laboratories, and client technical teams.
- Review audit observations and implement corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA).
- Ensure compliance with Scheme of Inspection and Testing (SIT/STI) requirements.
- Monitor regulatory updates, amendments in Indian Standards, and BIS certification guidelines.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of BIS Product Certification Scheme-I (ISI Mark) requirements.
- Knowledge of Factory Quality Control (FQC) systems and BIS testing requirements.
- Understanding of calibration, traceability, and laboratory compliance requirements.
- Ability to review technical documents, quality manuals, and manufacturing records.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.

Preferred Experience:
- Experience handling BIS certification projects for products such as steel, chemicals, electrical products, construction materials, cement, pipes, valves, and consumer products.
- Exposure to FMCS projects and overseas factory audits.
- Experience working with BIS-recognized laboratories.
- Experience in training manufacturing teams on BIS quality compliance requirements.
